Pinello Ranch
Pinello Ranch is an innovative partnership between Pikes Peak Community Foundation (PPCF) and Colorado Springs Utilities. Colorado Springs Utilities purchased the Pinello Ranch many decades ago, and just this past year, PPCF signed a long-term lease to bring Pinello back to life as a working farm and ranch.
Located just south of Colorado Springs and adjacent to the historic Venetucci Farm, Pinello Ranch serves as an oasis for wildlife along Fountain Creek. Together, Pinello Ranch and Venetucci Farm create a 400-acre working landscape and natural habitat, one of the largest “working open spaces” in a heavily-populated metro area--anywhere in the nation.
Hay and alfalfa fields, along with a planned berry patch and replanted historic orchard, share space with deer roaming, wild turkeys coming out to eat, and coyotes on the prey.
Pinello Ranch has lain fallow for many years, but our dedicated caretakers have taken on the challenge of bringing the Ranch back to life. In their words, “Pinello Ranch is a magical place, where the animals, land, and people all interact in a positive way."
In addition to restarting farm and ranch activities, Pinello Ranch will become a special place for weddings, special events, or other community gatherings. So, if you are looking for beautiful, yet ‘Colorado-rustic” place to hold your special event, please Contact Us. Come and enjoy the great outdoors and all it has to offer.
