The Fund for the Arts (FFTA) at Pikes Peak Community Foundation was founded in April of 2004.  Its mission is to foster sustainability and growth for arts organizations and artists in the Pikes Peak Region, and does so by increasing financial support and awareness of the arts and artists in the community.

The primary activity of the Fund for the Arts is to make strategic grants to local artists and art related projects.  FFTA is governed by a talented committee.  It's co-chaired by Mary Mashburn, retired director of the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration and Susan Edmondson, Executive Director of the Bee Vradenburg Foundation.

FFTA's long term vision is to create a community that embraces the arts and produces a financially stable, sustainable, and vital arts community.  Its ultimate goal it to make the Pikes Peak Region an eminent cultural center in the West.
