Maxwell Silver Fund
God blessed Max with the ability to write. Poetry caught him by the sleeve. In honor of this literary gift, we will be using your donation to help other students at Fort Lewis College to foster their passion for words. Your gracious donation to the Maxwell Silver Fund will be designated for the Southwest Writers Institute at Fort Lewis College whose mission is to increase community access and exposure to literature and the craft of writing. It features literary readings and writing workshops that directly benefit students and the community. Each year the Southwest Writers Institute will bring in an accomplished nationally-known writer to give a public reading of his/her work and to conduct a writing workshop with Fort Lewis College writing students. This reading will be named after Maxwell Silver.
