A Conservation Easement Project
A community effort is taking another step forward to place a Conservation Easement over Bear Creek Regional Park that will help preserve the land as a park & open space in perpetuity.
What is a Conservation Easement?
A Conservation Easement is a legal agreement between a landowner and a conservation organization that protects land with conservation values, and will provide assurance that Bear Creek Regional Park will be preserved for park & open space purposes in perpetuity.
What is the Status of the Project?
The Board of County Commissioners supports proceeding to the fundraising phase which includes raising $17,500 for the Palmer Land Trust's one-time conservation easement administrative and stewardship fee.
