Fund for a Thriving Community

Taking care of this community

Born from our roots in 1928, The Colorado Springs Community Trust, The Fund for a Thriving Community is an opportunity and responsibility that we all share to take care of the community that we love, for the long term. Collectively, the residents of the Pikes Peak region hold the power to leave a lasting legacy through an community endowment that goes toward the most pressing needs of our community at any given time. Your gift into this fund shows your commitment to the place you love.

History and Funding Focus

Fund for a Thriving Community

  • The Colorado Springs Community Trust grew out of the desire of local citizens to leave a long-term legacy in support of the community they love.
  • Through bequests, this fund has been established. It is made up of field of interest funds such as Fund for the Arts, Everett Trust and a fund for blind and visually impaired.
  • Citizens can donate to it and know that their bequest will benefit the community they love for years to come.
  • PPCF Staff and Trustees seek to make proactive grants in support of the highest needs of the community in any given year.
