At the Pikes Peak Community Foundation our approach is simply: Of the Community.  For the Community.

We connect people who care with causes that matter by linking philanthropic resources to the agencies and programs that need and deserve them.  The nonprofits we fund help heal, shelter, feed, comfort, and educate residents of the Pikes Peak region and beyond. At PPCF, we are careful to listen and accurately respond to the donors who entrust us with their resources, and the non-profit agencies working to make a difference in our community.  When we work together, we create a collective impact that reaches far beyond what any one of us might have accomplished alone.

In 2016, our theme is: “Looking to the Future, Celebrating Our Past.”  We hope you will join us in celebrating the 20 years since our founding as PPCF in 1996, and before that, as the Colorado Springs Community Trust since 1928.  We also want to share with you our vision for a successful future in the years ahead.   Community foundations are institutions of communal good.  Here at PPCF, we work to mobilize area resources and as-sets to meet pressing community needs and to positively impact the quality of life and well being of our residents.

As we look ahead, we are committed to assuring the foundation remains a relevant, stable force for good, while staying agile enough to meet different needs as times change.  We are working in concert with other place-based anchor institutions such as the city, county, universities, museums, hospitals and others, all of us in pursuit of a common goal: the best quality of life possible for our community.

PPCF has been a valued source of innovation and respon-siveness in Colorado Springs for 20 years.  That’s why we are able to convene diverse constituents for collective impact, build bridges of understanding between public and private initiatives, and foster a culture of philanthropy.  We have spent much of this past year listening, renewing, and activating our commitment, vision, and mission.  We are so excited to engage with you now, to improve the future we will share together.

Join us to build a better future.
