Ms. Parr is a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs. She previously worked as the Employment Services Coordinator for Community Outreach, Inc., assisting adults with developmental disabilities in accessing the workforce. She also has served on the board for the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region, was Chair of the Chamber Rising Professionals, and was President of the Colorado Association of Persons in Supported Employment. She previously worked with Fun.com and Elope, Inc. as a Licensing Specialist for Halloween costume and accessories manufacturing, and partnered with brand licensors like Disney, Warner Brothers, Dr. Seuss and Universal. She is also a part-time program director for Dragon Theatre Productions, a program of Imagination Celebration, and is responsible for producing an annual summer theatre program where everyone who auditions gets a chance to perform in the play. She earned a Pikes Peak Council Spirit of the Arts award and a Gazette Best Non-Profit Artist – Gold for her work in this role.
