Who We Are

The Philanthropy Collective is a consortium of philanthropic organizations and individuals that exists to learn, share expertise, collaborate, and leverage resources to address our region’s most significant challenges and actualize its potential. Our goal is to bring more philanthropic entities to the table. We will operate as an opt-in model, offering convenings on various topics and networking opportunities. Invitations will go out to different subsets of our overall participant list based on topic.

A Community, A Place, and A Program

The Philanthropy Collective is first and foremost the community of funders dedicated to working collaboratively. It is also substantively a place located at 315 E Pikes Peak Avenue in Colorado Springs. Finally, it is a set of programs that helps the funding community achieve its goals. The Philanthropy Collective is an initiative supported by Pikes Peak Community Foundation.

About The Place – 315 Collective

315 E Pikes Peak Avenue is owned and managed by 315 Collective, LLC, a group of philanthropic funders led by the Lane Foundation. One side of the building houses The Philanthropy Collective. The other houses The Well, a food and beverage hall and community gathering space that funds the overall investment. Ten foundations and philanthropic enterprises are the initial tenants. Other foundations are welcome to co-office here and hot desk space and meeting rooms are offered to the philanthropic community.

To fund 315 Collective, several foundations used Mission-Related Investments (MRI), market-rate, place-based, investments aimed at generating positive social change in the community.

The following foundations made the MRI:
-The Lane Foundation
-Pikes Peak Community Foundation
-Pikes Peak Real Estate Foundation
-Bloom Foundation
-Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation
-Bloom Foundation
-Tiemens Foundation
